All the stress associated with this time of year melted away as we filled the church preparing for our annual 1st through – 8th grade Christmas pageant. The students sang beautifully, reenacting the story of the birth of Christ. The same can be said for the innocence of our early childhood students singing so angelically in the gymnasium, practicing their own show this week. These beautiful moments allow us to remember the real meaning of this joyous time of year. While it is nice to give and receive gifts, it is truly important we spend time together and celebrate this holy time.
We recently held our 9th annual Gala at Spinelli’s in Peabody where we honored the leadership of Malden through Mayors Gary Christenson, Edwin Lucey, and Richard Howard. I was honored to be selected by faculty and staff to be the Dianne Dingolo Award recipient, named after the beloved former principal.
