Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Religious Education Program has started up the RCIA program (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults). We have joined together with Immaculate Conception in Malden. Classes will meet at Immaculate on Sunday mornings directly following the 9:00 am Mass. Our representative from Sacred Hearts is Ralph Pecora.

 
This program is for persons wishing to receive one or all of the Catholic Sacraments – Baptism, Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation.

Classes will begin on Sunday, October 24, 2021. This year, our hope is to open religious education to all grades - from 1st grade - 12th grade. However, this may change depending on registration numbers and space availability, in which case, we may have to focus only on sacrament preparation. This means that registration will be open to first and second-year First Communion preparation and first and second-year Confirmation preparation. In the meantime, we advise that you register your child for religious education, regardless of what grade he/she may be in. We will provide the final details at the beginning of October.

Las clases comenzarán el Domingo, 24 de Octubre del 2021. Este año, nuestra esperanza es abrir la educación religiosa a todos los grados, desde el primer grado hasta el duodécimo grado. Sin embargo, esto puede cambiar dependiendo de los números de registro y la disponibilidad de espacio, en cuyo caso, es posible que tengamos que concentrarnos solo en la preparación sacramental. Esto significará que la inscripción estará abierta solo para la preparación de la Primera Comunión de primer y segundo año, y la preparación para la Confirmación de primer y segundo año.

Mientras tanto, le recomendamos que inscriba a su hijo/hija en la educación religiosa, independientemente del grado en el que esté. Proporcionaremos más detalles a principios de Octubre.

2021-2022 Religious Education Registration Fees have been adjusted as follows:

• 1 Child: $30
• 2 Children: $45
• 3 Children: $60
• 4 or more Children: $75
