Mrs. Angela Tavares

Welcome to 4th grade. My name is Mrs. Angela Tavares, and I am one of the fourth-grade teachers.  Some children, especially in the upper grades, will still call me Ms. England, which I will still answer to.

This is my 6th year at Cheverus. I have taught Title One, 4th grade, and 2nd grade in previous years. I have my degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University. Before coming to Cheverus, I taught at Saint Peters School, Chelsea Public Schools, and Watertown Public Schools. In Chelsea, I taught in Special Education, which remains a passion for me. 
I am very excited to be back in 4th grade this year, and I look forward to working with your children.

Homework: Assignments are given on a daily basis.   Please check my homework page for daily assignments.

Grading policy: Tests are worth 70% of the final grade each trimester and quizzes are worth 30%.  Homework is counted as one quiz grade at the end of each trimester.
