Hello Cheverus, Students and Families,

Wednesday, September 9th is our first full day back to school. Arrival 7:40 and dismissal at 2:00 in school yard.

Teaching is my passion! I started my teaching career in 2008. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology from Bay Path University. I have a beautiful, college aged daughter with a exciting career. We live close by and have a beloved dog named Pepper.

I am planning an exciting school year of learning and development. We have a lot to learn, and time goes fast. My students become eager learners, and I want to instill student ownership of their learning and development. At this age, they are ready to become individual leaders; I can't wait to help them develop these skills!

First grade academics is an extension of foundational skill building from kindergarten. Students continue to develop these crucial foundational skills for future school success.  Most importantly, students need to develop strong reading skills to support academic reading across the curriculum in math, science, and social studies. My highest recommendation is that my students read nightly to build good reading skills and reading habits.
